The short answers.
Is it really private?
Yes. There's no public profile, no search for other people's lists and no messaging. The only way anyone sees anything of yours is if you share a wishlist into a group you invited them to — and even then, your hiding places, notes and budget stay yours. Privacy policy.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything is stored on your phone first and syncs when you're back online. If you edit the same gift on two devices, both edits survive.
Which devices?
iPhone and iPad, Apple Silicon Macs, and any browser at app.buymethis.online. Android is planned for next year.
Can my kids use it?
Children are at the heart of it — as the people you buy for. Accounts are for people aged 16 and over; a parent keeps the list, and a child's wishlist goes in via the parent.
